When God asks you to do something, do you argue and talk yourself out of it? If he asks you to go witness to a complete
stranger in a restaurant will you be obedient to the call? If you know someone who has no clothes or food, will you help
them and give them what they need? If God asks you to go pray with someone, are you obedient?
God is looking for faithful children who will serve Him in all things and at all costs even if it means losing friends
who don't agree with what they are doing. We must not concern ourselves with being "men pleasers" but should strive
to be "God pleasers". One day each one of us will stand before God. No one else can stand in our place. Will God
be pleased with us?
God speaks to us through the Holy Spirit. He speaks in a still small voice. If we are not seeking after God with all
of our hearts, we may miss what he is speaking as we concern ourselves with the cares and concerns of this life. We may miss
the direction He is giving that could be our breakthrough out of the circumstances we are in.
The Bible tells us that faith without works is DEAD! (James 2:20)
The Bible also tells us that believing in God is no proof that you are justified by faith alone, for even devils believe,
and tremble. Get your Bible and read it for yourself in James 2:19.
Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. But wilt thou know, O
vain man, that faith without works is dead? James 2:19-20
Are you working your faith?
