This morning I watched a lady on the news who said she had lost her home and was sleeping on her brothers porch. She wanted
FEMA to provide her with a new home so that she could feel some security in her life. She said she felt like she had been
punched when she was low and needed help right away. My husband said "bless her heart".
A home and clothes are only temporary things and can get washed away by a hurricane. Once the woman does get a home, there
is no guarantee that it will not be destroyed by another event.
How much more concerned should we all be for our eternal home and our eternal existence. Death is a door to eternity that
we all must go through. We need to pray for those who do not have the security of Jesus Christ in their life.
