                          Draw Close


Draw close, My child, draw close to Me.  I have longed to shield you
under the shadow of My wings, to protect you from the attacks of the
evil one against you.  Do not stand apart on your own, unprotected
in the face of adversary.  Run to Me and allow Me to overshadow you,
to draw you close, to hold you, to strengthen you.

Child, you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you, but
apart from Me you can do nothing.  I have commanded you to draw close
to Me, to abide in Me and to allow My Spirit to abide in you.  Little
one, you can not survive apart from Me, do not even consider trying
it.  Instead run to Me, nestle up next to Me and draw even closer to Me.
Allow Me to saturate you with Myself.

I am calling you to a deeper place of intimacy with Me.  I am calling you
to truly know Me, even as I have known you.  Draw close to Me and allow
Me to teach you of Myself.  For I am your life and I am your strength,
and I am your all-sustaining one.  I want to reveal My heart to you.  I
want to speak to you, Spirit-to-spirit; My Spirit speaking directly to
yours.  I want to teach you to recognize My voice.  I want to surround
you in My presence and embrace you in My love.  I have many good things
for you.  So draw near to Me so that you may receive them from Me.

Child of Mine, do not allow sin or failure to put distance between us.
When you sin, run to Me and repent and receive My instant forgiveness, for
it has already been purchased for you on Calvary.  And it is yours to
claim, instantly, the moment you realize you have entered into rebellion
against Me and repent and turn back to Me.  Do not allow your sins and
failures to come between us.  Do not draw away in fear of punishment or
rejection.  Run to Me, receive My forgiveness, and I will embrace you
with open arms.  Draw near to Me, do not fear.  I am safe -- I am your
place of refuge and your stronghold in the times of trouble.  I am
with you and I will not reject you nor cast you out when you run to Me
in sincerity of heart.

Come before Me, child.  Draw close to Me.  Allow My Spirit to transform
you. Allow My faithfulness to strengthen you.  Allow My love to embrace
you and to wash away the torments the enemy tries to launch against your
mind.  Know that I am a good God, loving and accepting of My children,
when you come before Me in sincerity and in truth.  The blood that was
shed for you on Calvary cleanses you from all impurity.  Now it is
time to come and abide in Me and allow Me to transform your nature to
line up more closely with Mine.  So come and sit in My presence, draw near
to Me, abide in My love and know Me.  Child of Mine, come to Me.
