As I read this scripture the other day, I wondered about these fallen angels being kept in chains by God. These angels had been with God in Heaven. They had freedom and rights and priveledges given to them by God himself, but they chose to turn against God. They had it made before, but they still chose to rebel against the one who made things wonderful for them.

 

God started showing me that there is no middle ground. Anything that is not of God is the opposite of God...

 

God is life, freedom, truth, light, hope, love and peace. If we do not choose God then we have the opposite of him which is death, bondage, lies, darkness, hopelessness, hate and fear.

 

Why would we choose to turn against such a loving Father to be in bondage?

 

Father, I pray you will show us your truth and save ourselves from destruction. Let us realize you are the only way that is good and free.
