Having Walked the Desert...
You have been in the desert and the time there has been hard and long. You have
felt the heat on your back and the hardness of the walk; you have bent, you have struggled, but you have not broken.
You have been digging wells in the desert for those who come after you. Listen to My words and gain strength,
for there are others who will walk this way, the desert way, and drink from these wells and be sustained. There
are others who will follow and gain strength from what you have endured. You are not alone. This is a
familiar walk and it is not the final one.
Listen. Does the desert have no end? Do you not see the sun
rise by day and set by night? Do I not send relief in the way of the moon and the stars, so the Earth can rest
and have peace and grow? Does the rain fall from the heavens without ceasing? No. For My mighty right
hand controls these things, controls the winds and the seas, the setting and the rising of the sun. How much
more will I care for you, My precious one? Will I abandon you in the desert place with no refuge and no shelter from
the night storms? Not I. You have traveled long and you have traveled far but now you come to a time of
release.
Release. A time of flooding, spiritual flooding is upon you. It is upon you and I say lift
your weary arms and give thanks. Lift your weary arms and clap for joy and fill the air around you with praises for
a time of spiritual flooding is upon you. As you leave this desert place, do not look back. You have learned
and gained all that you needed, you have left wells for those who will walk this way, you have trudged a path and have
come through. You have completed a time of heat and testing and hardness. You have set your face to Me
as flint, despite all that has come your way, and now is the time to rejoice.
Rejoice! Lift your weary arms
and your tear-stained face and let Me hold you in My arms. Let Me fill you with peace. Be still. Be still.
I am not man that I should lie, nor powerless that I would let you trudge that desert route unaided or alone with
no way out. I am the way. Set your eyes on me and do not grow weary.
