For too long we have worried about man's acceptance instead of our Father's approval. Will we stop and die out to ourselves
and the imaginations we conceive of men? Will we only try to please our God?
I am tired of pleasing man. For one thing man is never satisfied. I cannot truly please man, but with all of the love
of my Father, I can please Him!
Love will get my Father's approval. Looking through His eyes instead of my own will enable me to see clearly. Hearing
with His ears, I can begin to truly hear. Loving with His heart will help me to love when I never thought I was capable of
such great love.
Let's no longer worry about being accepted in man's eyes. Let's ask our Father if everything we are doing grants
His approval. One day we will stand before Him and what man thinks will make no difference. We must be ready to stand
approved. We don't get into the Kingdom of Heaven by our works, but by the works of Jesus and our willingness to
accept what He has done for us.
Father we pray that you would give us boldness to please you only.
