Do you remember being a small child? Things were so simple because our minds were not clouded with worries, doubts
and discouragement. If we made up our minds to do something, no matter how impossible it seemed, somehow we pulled it off.
I can remember building my own playhouse out of wooden slats used for shipping. It was complete with carpet and a chair
and my own decorations on the walls.
Once I had made up my mind to build it, I convinced my brothers and neighbors to pitch in and build our own clubhouse.
You know I believe the building of the playhouse was as exciting or even more exciting than actually having it finished and
sitting inside the small space, cramped with other kids and our toys. It started with a simple idea that eventually became
a reality.
Like the child that built the playhouse, we must come to God as little children. We must remove every hindrance from
our minds and allow God to tell us what we need to be working on to build His Kingdom. He will put the excitement and passion
we need to fulfill the project, and He will bring others to help us, if we will simply go to Him with an open mind
and an open heart, just like a child.
