There are many of you who have heavy hearts. You are carrying the weight of the loss of loved ones and this burden is too heavy for you to carry.

 

God has the strength to carry this loss. We do not. God wants us to be worry free. We cannot change the situation so we should not allow satan an inch in upseting us over something we can't change.

 

Jesus came to give us life and to give it abundantly. That means we are to enjoy living. How are we living abundantly if we are carrying such a heavy heart that it will not receive joy? The joy of the Lord is our strength. That means we are to rejoice in the Lord, knowing that He has our loved ones with Him, that they are safe, and we are going to see them again in a little while.

 

Some people think they are supposed to have a heavy heart when there is a loss of a loved one. They think others are looking at them and they need to seem sad or it will appear that they didn't care about the one who has left. If we had no hope then this way would make sense, but we have hope because of Christ. We know we will see them again so instead of being sad, we can rejoice! We will see them again because God has made a way to bring us back together.

 

So, this Christmas Season rejoice! Rejoice that all is well. God has taken care of your loved one and He has taken care of you also. We are all in His hands, and that is a good thing. Merry Christmas!
