God gave us the greatest Christmas gift when He sent His only begotten Son Jesus into the world to rescue it!
We have the opportunity to give back to God. There is one thing that He wants and that is you and me. I used
to think that He had all of me because I called Him Savior and Lord, but I was wrong. He was my Savior and Lord in name only.
I put everything else in my life before Him and served Him with the leftovers on my plate of normal everyday life. He wants
us to love Him more than we love ourselves! We truly will never be happy until we do love Him more than we love ourselves
because there is nothing that can ever satisfy our souls the way God can.
So this Christmas let's all give ourselves to God, really, really give ourselves to God and give Him back the
precious gift He came and died for! Let's tell Him and believe in our hearts that He is first and we belong to Him and we
wouldn't want it any other way. He knows we have to live in this world and there are things to deal with in our lives like
jobs and family. He understands all of that, but He wants to be the most important thing to us and He should be the most important
thing. He put more importance upon us than upon Himself when He died for us. He is the greatest Father we could ever imagine.
Loving us, providing for us, blessing us, and caring for us!
