From before the time that we were created, pride has stood in between us and the heart of God. At first it was Lucifer
who was pure and holy until pride was found in him. Then, it was pride to become like God in the Garden when Adam and Eve
ate the fruit God had asked them not to eat of. They decided what they could do instead of following the way that would have
kept them well and whole and full of life. Their pride seperated them from God. God wanted a relationship with them and to
walk and talk with them.
Today, pride is the thing that still seperates us from the heart of God. If we would give up the pride in ourselves and
let God fill us then we could see the heart of God. God only wants to bless us and to love us and for us to be whole. He sent
Jesus for our healing and our Salvation and our joy.
The only reason we can reject all that God has done for us is pride. We must humble ourselves before the Lord and realize
that apart from Him there is no joy, no freedom, no life worth living. We must get back to the heart of God and enjoy Him
and all of His benefits!
