How many times do we try to copycat others? We get caught up in keeping up with the Jones' and then we feel defeated
if we didn't exceed our own expectations for our idea of what keeping up would have been. All of this is just too crazy and
the people of God shouldn't have to worry about keeping up with other people.
We should keep us with who we are in Christ Jesus. You know when Jesus was on the earth he was just himself. He didn't
change to fit in with the crowd. He stood apart from the crowd and loved them at the same time. He didn't compromise himself
to be accepted and neither can we.
We must learn to love ourselves and enjoy being who God made us to be. God doesn't want us to stay in some kind of competition
with the world and then feel let down if we didn't meet ours or others expecatations. God loves you and made you unique. There
is no need for you to try to fit into someone else's mold. Simply put...just live your life and be who YOU are!
