God wants us to be on fire for him. To desire and love him like he desires and loves us. We cannot be lukewarm and expect to have a life filled with joy and happiness. If we will turn up our excitement towards the Lord, we will be satisfied and fulfilled in our lives because of the joy that comes from honoring the Lord the way that he should be honored. Lukewarm is really not having any feeling at all. Who wants that?
