As children of God we must always stand in truth. We probably will not have as many friends, but more important than friends,
God will be pleased with us. If God is for us, who can be against us?
The scriptures below tell how King Ahab felt about the truth. He hated the man of God who had told him the truth in
the past. He didn't like it anymore than most people like it today. Many want to hear what is pleasing to their ears
instead of the truth.
We must always stand in the truth because the truth will set us free. Lies will only put people into bondage where there
is no freedom from the powers of darkness in their lives.
2 Chronicles 18:7
The king of Israel answered Jehoshaphat, "There is still one man through whom we can inquire of the LORD, but I hate him
because he never prophesies anything good about me, but always bad. He is Micaiah son of Imlah."
