Emotions can be very detrimental to Spiritual growth or health. Good emotions can be harnessed and used by the Holy Spirit to aid in a ministry or to serve others. Negative emotions on the other hand can play havoc with your walk of faith. It is unstable, unsure, and causes you to doubt when you are supposed to walk in faith. Don’t allow the enemy to use your emotions in a situation to render your faith powerless. Fear and irrational behavior and doubt will cause you to panic instead of standing on God’s Word for that situation. You see for everything that we go through Christ had already provided a way or solution. But we have to consult God’s Word and come before the Lord in a quiet spirit and surrender our emotions and human way of seeing and dealing with things at the foot of the Cross. Psalms 46 v1 says that God is our refuge and God is our strength a very present help in times of trouble.

Romans 8 v 28,35;37 - 39 says that :

28 all things work together for the good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose

35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Could oppression, or anguish, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

37 No, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.

38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers,

39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

So next time the devil throws us a curve ball let us stand firm on the Foundation of our Lord Jesus Christ and the promises of the Word of God.
