Exodus 1:12 But the more they afflicted them, the more they multiplied and grew. And they were grieved because of the
children of Israel.
When Pharaoh spoke these words in Exodus 1:12, he was considered the most powerful man on the
earth at a time when the children of Israel were enslaved in Egypt under his earthly rule. Why would such a powerful
man fear slaves? Because just like satan, he knows that his rule is limited and although he has many natural weapons,
they cannot compare to the spiritual weapons that the Lord gives to His believers. The weapons of our warfare
are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds. No matter how much he afflicted the children
of Israel they grew. What does that tell you about us, the Believers, Spiritual Israel? All the attacks,
all the afflictions, all the trials are designed to help us grow even more powerful in God.
The bible says in 2
Corinthians 4:17-18 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight
of glory; 18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which
are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. In other words, the trials are temporary and they
are working out in us fruits to the Glory of God, Hallelujah! Don't look at what you are going through, ask the
Lord to show you the other side of the Red Sea, the Promised Land, the land flowing with milk and honey. Keep your
eye on the prize; the attacks, trials and afflictions are tools the enemy uses to take your focus off of Christ and
what He has for you, but the Lord will use them to get you into spiritual shape. You cannot enter the promised land
if you are not prepared to fight the giants there and win. You cannot enter the promised land if you are too weak
to maintain the property. This is your wilderness journey, DON'T DIE IN THE MIDST OF THE DESERT IN UNBELIEF!
With each affliction, you must use it as an opportunity to grow and produce more fruit of the spirit so that when the enemy
tries to attack you again, he will scratch his head and repeat the words of Pharaoh in Exodus 1:12
But
the more I afflict them, the more they multiply and grow.
And I am so grieved because of them..
You deal with
those attacks, trials and afflictions head on and use them as stepping stones to walk on over to your promised land of
victory. Tell the devil he is a LIAR and it is time for me to grow, AMEN!
And we know that ALL things
work together for the good to them that Love God and are called according to His purpose. Amen
