Have you ever seen anyone win a race without fighting to get to the finish line? We, as Christians, want to win this
race. We want the victory. We claim that Christ has already given us the victory, but much of our lives do not display the
victory. Why is this? Because we are not standing firm in our faith. It is easy to tell others how they need to be and what
all that God will do, but when it comes down to it, it is hard for us to accept it for our own situations in our personal
lives. We must believe God. We must take Him at His Word. He has never told a lie. Why then is it so hard for us to trust
His Word? Is it because humans will let us down and we can't understand someone who could never fail? God will never fail.
We must get the victory. We must start believing our God and His promises for us and our lives. We must get to know Him by
reading His Word and then stand firm on the Word that we learn. This will manifest the victory in our own lives.
