Psalms 37:39-40, (RSV)
The salvation of the righteous is from the Lord; he is their refuge in the time of trouble. The Lord helps them and delivers
them; he delivers them from the wicked, and saves them, because they take refuge in him.
From this scripture we can see that God rescues us because we trust in him. He obligates himself to us through his word.
If we do not seem to be overcoming the storms in our life, we need to take a close look at how much we are trusting in God
for our deliverance.
