Worry

Ever considered the futility of worrying? Worry diverts energy from solutions to problems. God commands us not to worry. He says don’t even think about worrying. I’ll bet the stock market has a lot of people worrying about money. Trouble is, worrying won’t make the stock market rise.

A lot of people are beginning to lose their jobs. Guess what? Worrying won’t get the job back. But it will prevent you from retraining, or networking, or looking for a new and better job.

I’ve been in tight situations and I’ve always had to choose to worry… or not. I’ve had periods where I focused on problems instead of solutions. I found that worrying only depressed me, made me irritable, and had no constructive effect.

God says that he knows the number of hairs on our head. He says He has a good plan for our lives...Perhaps God knows what is happening and has something better for you. God says you have no idea of the good He has planned for you. Thinking about solutions and taking action, in faith that God does care, has always been a better option than worrying. Have faith and praise God. Selah!
