Time To Fight Back

I was thinking this morning of Israel. Israel is God's chosen people because when the world looks at Israel, like an arrow, Israel points straight to God. Israel has been picked on and abused and then gets talked about like the abuse has been originating from itself. I am so glad that Israel is standing up for itself and fighting back. I pray for God to send warrior angels to fight on their behalf and to protect the jewish people from all harm.

Many times if we look into the spirit as world events are going on around us we can see a correlation in our own lives. This often happens with the church in comparison to Israel. After all the church is a spiritual type of Israel. The church is God's chosen spiritual nation, a new nation that points to God.

There is much confusion today about what is the real church. There are many who go to church every time the church doors are open, hold titles and roles within the church, but could care less about anyone but themselves. This is not the church I am talking about when I talk about God's true church.

God's true church consists of people from all over the world who have accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior and who love him with all of their hearts. They are not only concerned about themselves, but have a love that comes out in concern for others. This church, these people, have been under attack just like Israel.
And for years these people have tried to be kind as we have been accused of anything and everything. We have taken the punches all in the name of keeping the peace just like modern day Israel.

I was talking to a friend of mine this past week and we were talking about changes within ourselves that were difficult to understand. For some reason we are starting to have a hardness to what others are attacking us with. For some reason we are feelig the urge to stand up and tell the truth instead of just keeping the peace. It is not that we have hardened our hearts, but it is that just like modern day Israel, we have turned against evil with a hatred towards it. We are not perfect, but can easily see the needless pain and agony caused by browbeating and oppose it with everything that we are.

I believe that today as modern Israel stands to show the truth and to fight against evil that the church stands to show the truth and to fight against evil.

James 4:17

Therefore  him that knoweth to do right, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.
