The love God has for you is greater than any emotion you have ever felt. If you could have a glimpse into the way He really feels about you, you would fall down crying on your knees feeling unworthy of such a great love.

He doesn't want you to feel unworthy in your acceptance of His love. He wants to heal your hurts and your past. He has already released your past, but now it is up to you to release it as well. When He looks upon you, He does not think of the former things in your life that you are ashamed of. He looks at you and sees the wonderful creation He delights in.

He wants to wrap you up in His embrace and let you sit on His lap like a little child in His Father's arms of safety and comfort and love.

He wants you to start loving yourself. He knows you will not be whole, until you can learn to love yourself. Think about it. God loves you so much, and His ways are excellent, so how is it that you can not love yourself? Why do you sell yourself short?

There are many talents and gifts which God has deposited inside of you. They are there to be brought out, but how can you pull them up to the surface if you have a wall built that keeps them from coming out? You have seen others with giftings and talents and wondered to yourself "why can't I do that?".

The secret is learning to love yourself and to become comfortable with who you are, and then you will break through the wall that keeps you from becoming free.

You must learn to love yourself before you can truly share love with others.  God's love for you is enough reason for you to love yourself. If for no other reason, God's love is reason enough.

So start today by thanking God for designing you to be the special and unique person you are. Start today by celebrating your life and the love God has for you, and the plans God has for you. Love yourself with a Holy kind of love, and you will find freedom at last!
